- ConvertX needs no account and has no server of its own. Core conversion works offline.
- Your conversion history, favorites and settings stay on your device. We never receive them.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers. ConvertX Pro removes ads.
- We use no analytics and no crash-reporting services.
1. Who we are
ConvertX is developed and published by abqamar (Muhammad Basit Qamar), referred to as “we”. This policy explains what the app handles and the choices you have. Contact details are in section 12.
2. What we do not collect
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or the values you convert. We do not run a server that receives this data, and the app contains no analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDKs of our own.
3. Data stored on your device
To provide its features, ConvertX stores the following locally on your device only:
- Conversion history (category, units, value, result, time), within the retention limit you choose.
- Favorite conversions.
- Settings such as theme, text size, language, precision and display options, and recently used units.
- A small record that Pro was purchased, so it can be unlocked without a connection.
This data never leaves your device through ConvertX. You can clear history at any time in the app, and uninstalling the app removes everything.
4. Permissions
ConvertX asks for as little as possible.

ConvertX does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts or files.
5. Advertising (free version)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), your IP address and ad interaction data to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We do not receive this data.
Where required, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, a Google consent form is shown before ads are requested, and ads are not requested until you have chosen. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your Android settings. Buying ConvertX Pro removes ads.
6. Purchases (ConvertX Pro)
Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only learns whether the purchase is active and stores that status on your device. We have no purchase server and no account tied to it, so use the store's “restore purchases” if you reinstall or change device.
7. Sharing and links
Copy and share actions run only when you tap them, using your device's clipboard or share sheet. What you share goes to the app you choose, not to us. Links, such as store pages or this policy, open in your browser or the store app.
8. Children
ConvertX is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an advertising service, contact that service or us.
9. Security
Because your data stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security. We have no accounts or servers that could be breached. Keep your device updated and locked.
10. Your choices and rights
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. Depending on where you live (for example GDPR in the EEA/UK or CCPA in California), you may have rights over data held by Google for advertising. Use Google's controls and your device's ad settings, or the consent form in the app, to exercise them.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If we ever add a feature that changes how data is handled, we will update this policy before it ships.
